An earthen-textured ring done in high-key neutrals, set with a rounded triangle of included quartz.  Also known as Lodolite, Garden Quartz and Aquarium Quartz, this lovely stone is filled with fluffy off-white mineral clouds and delicate golden rutile crystals finer than a hair.  It comes from Gary Wilson's lapidary in Tucson.

The sterling setting is understated and lightly distressed, while the adjustable band is heavily textured in resonance with the white inclusions in the quartz.  All was done with simple hand tools and finished by hand...rugged, primitive, yet elegant as the earth is elegant.  A light golden patina is over all; the finish is matte.

Striking, sturdy enough to go anywhere.  A light companion in dark winter days.

SIZE:  Because the band is not perfectly round, it is very hard to gauge the exact size range of this ring.  My best estimate is that it is around a ring size 7-8.  The quartz in its bezel measures 1" x 1" x 1/2"

CARE: Wash and wear as desired. Do not scrub the ring or you will damage the patina...let it become richer with time and wear.  The patina will deepen naturally over time while the high spots will become brighter.  If you wish to restore the matte surface, simply buff the silver lightly with a dry kitchen scrubbing pad, avoiding the stone.

PRESENTATION:  This ring will come to you giftwrapped in recycled and earth-friendly packaging.  See my shop policies below for details.
