A more understated primitive bracelet, this one is made from fused fine silver links ranging from 14 to 8 gauge. The silver is heavily distressed and hammered on desert rock for texture, then entirely finished by hand. Also on the chain are two small discs made from bronze metal clay bearing fossil impressions. The smaller one has a mark made by a fossil stingray tooth and the larger one is molded from a 300 million year old brachiopod shell I found east of Socorro, NM. The hook closure is made from sterling for strength, and was finished in the same was as the rest of the metal. Everything has been oxidized and is brought up to a satiny polish.

The bracelet will become shiny in the high spots as it is worn, while the patina will continue to deepen. The bronze discs will acquire a rich, golden hue.

This is a great casual bracelet but of course you can wear it anywhere, even layer it with others, depending on your preference. Style out of deep time…

SIZE: 8 1/2” long.

CARE:  Wash with soap and water as desired. If you want to polish it, you can buff it down to a matte finish by using a dry kitchen scrubbing pad or steel wool. For a brighter shine, use a jeweler’s polishing cloth.

PRESENTATION: This bracelet will come to you beautifully giftwrapped in an earth-friendly and recycled gift box.  Please see the Shop Policies below for details.
